The year is 1816 and the Duke of Sutherland, Lorne Gordon, has just returned from the dead. He finds his beloved castle, the home of his family for generations, sold. Yes, the Duke seems to be having some bad luck, or is it more than bad luck? Either way he means to reclaim his castle and move forward with his life. Imagine the surprise when he confronts the new owner to see none other than his former betrothed’s younger sister, Miss Jaime Andrewson. Jaime is all grown up now and the last person she ever wanted to see was the Duke of Sutherland-the rakehell ruined her sister and left her with child.
